Pray for America and Israel,

Hi Friends,

I was praying yesterday morning when I received a vision.  I believe it is for our nation.  We as believers are encouraged to pray for the Church but also to pray for our country and its leaders. We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for Israel to know their Messiah, Jesus.  We are to be a restraining force against the evil in the world today.

So many of the world’s ideologies and philosophies are absolutely opposed to the Christian faith. The Church has been asleep and compliant for the most part.  Not wanting to cause a stir, the church stays silent. But when persecution becomes significant, the Holy Spirit’s power within each believer will ignite a flame, and we will finally see the church arise and stand her ground.  I believe that day will come soon.  I pray and hope that the church is awake and ready, for the Lord will return “at a time you do not expect.”

The vision I am sharing today concerns America and Israel.  This is a warning vision, concerning America’s responsibility in the conflict between Israel and Iran and her proxies.

The Vision

The White Towel

I saw a white towel being handled in front of my eyes.  It seemed to be a new towel, pure white and clean, ready for use.  But as someone turned the towel, I saw that there was a large swath of blood on it. I was suddenly taken aback.  I thought to myself, “No, that towel is filthy!”

Then I began to pray about the vision as to its meaning.  A scripture came to mind:

“Though your sins be scarlet, they will become white as snow.”  Isaiah 1:18

When I looked up the passage in The Bible where it is found, I saw that the opening words referred to Israel, whom the Lord had likened to Sodom and Gomorrah. I thought perhaps, the vision concerned our nation.  There is no doubt in my mind, that the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah are nothing compared to the corruption we have seen in the last several years.

“Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom! Give ear to the teaching of our God, you people of Gomorrah!”  Isaiah 1:10

“When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood. Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause.

Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord.  Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;  though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”  Isaiah 1:15-20

The blood on the towel represents sin and bloodshed. I continued to pray for the meaning, but it was the following day, during Sunday morning prayer, that the Lord reminded me of a vision that he had given me of judgment against our nation back in 2005.

This is what I wrote regarding the vision at that time:

This vision I received October 21, 2005 after Katrina and Rita had already hit Florida and New Orleans.

Re:  Judgment – Pressuring Israel to give up the Gaza Strip

I am again concerned for our nation for we have now added injury to insult.  It seems most of our country as well as the Church is oblivious to the peril we are in.  Saturday night, I was praying and asked God to speak to me.  I opened to Obadiah.  I read it and did not understand.

The next morning, while in prayer, I received a vision that showed two sanitary pads one with fresh blood and the other with a single clot of blood.  There was a voice comparing the two ending with:  “And now this!”  I then saw in white letters on a black background:  “Obadiah.”  God was telling me to read Obadiah once more.  Then, I understood.

Obadiah was declaring God’s judgment upon Edom for continually seeking Israel’s demise.  The Edomites were Esau’s descendants.  Esau was of course Jacob’s brother who sold his inheritance to his brother for a bowl of soup.  He had no regard for the covenant relationship that he had with God, by way of Abraham and Isaac, or for God’s blessing on his descendants, or for the “Promised Land,” which God had given to Abraham, his grandfather.  This single act of ingratitude caused God to say, “Jacob I loved–Esau I hated.”  (Romans 9:13 referring to Malachi 1:2-3)

Our nation, along with other nations, have become like Edom.  We have sinned against God and aroused his anger toward us, by pressuring Israel to give up a portion of their God given inheritance – the Gaza Strip.  We have brought upon ourselves a curse.  Speaking to Abraham, God declared, “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.”  Genesis 12:3

God showed me our nation’s sin as blood on sanitary napkins because a woman’s menstrual cycle is often referred to as “the curse.”

The fresh blood represents the sins of our nation: abortion, sexual immorality, violence, self-indulgence, materialism, and lack of concern for the poor.

The sanitary pad with the single clot of blood, represents an old grievance.  We have sinned as the Edomites did, by trying to take away the inheritance of the Israelites.  We have exposed an old wound.  That is why God intends to show his wrath in even greater ways for he said in my vision, “And now this!”

I have heard government leaders say on television, regarding New Orleans, “We will rebuild!”  I heard another say, “We will make this city, like a New Las Vegas!”

God sees things differently.  God speaks out through the prophet Malachi:

“Edom may say, ‘Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins.’  But this is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘They may build, but I will demolish.  They will be called the Wicked Land, a people always under the wrath of the Lord.   You will see it with your own eyes and say, ‘Great is the Lord–even beyond the borders of Israel.’”  Malachi 1:4

It is imperative that we pray earnestly, for our nation to turn back to God.

When all this was taking place, there were 8 hurricanes that hit America within 15 months.  This I believe was God’s judgment.

The Current Vision - The Towel

Now in this new vision of the blood on a towel.  I see that we have done the unthinkable once again!  We have facilitated the funding of terrorism against Israel, by unfreezing 6 billion dollars of Iran’s oil profits (held in Seoul, Korea), as part of a prisoner exchange.  Even though the money is supposed to be  used for humanitarian purposes, it allows Iran to free up other funds for military support to their proxies, in effect funding terrorism directed at Israel. Our government claims that it supports Israel, but by its actions it promotes its destruction.

The rockets that Hamas rained down on Israel just a few days ago, came from the Gaza strip.  An action that Netanyahu had warned about in 2004-5, when he was the financial cabinet advisor to Sharon.  He believed so strongly about not withdrawing from the Gaza strip, that he resigned his cabinet position. He warned them that if the disengagement plan were to proceed, it would create an opportunity for “increased terrorism.”

Our president at that time, and the Congress supported the disengagement.  As a result, trouble came to Florida and the coastal states, in the form of hurricanes, 8 striking Florida within 15 months.

“God will not be mocked, a man reaps what he sows.”  Galatians 6:7

So I repeat the curse that God placed on those who seek Israel’s demise:

“I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you.”  Genesis 12:3

So it is imperative that we pray for God to forgive our nation for its corrupt ways and to forgive our misguided government leaders.  They have placed Israel in harm’s way by releasing funds that afforded Iran to support their proxies that surround Israel, “the apple of His eye.”  When the United States is no longer a policing force that maintains international peace, bad actors become emboldened to do whatever they desire without the fear of retaliation.

Please Join in and Pray:

  • We acknowledge that our nation deserves God’s wrath, for many reasons, but we pray for forgiveness and mercy.

  • We pray that those in power, who by their actions cause harm to Israel, and our own people, who care nothing for our nation, will be removed from office, and that god-fearing men and women will take their positions.

  • We pray for the leadership of Israel, that they would not be led by worldly wisdom, but by the counsel of God.

  • We pray that the law making body in Israel will not pass laws making it illegal to share the gospel, as has been proposed.

  • We pray that Israel will experience a true revival and will acknowledge Jesus as their Messiah.

  • We pray that the fear of God will come upon those who are holding Israeli hostages, and will release them unharmed.

  • We pray that Israel’s strategy of blocking goods and shutting off power will cause Hamas to  consider their own people’s well-being and surrender.

  • We pray that there will be no other governmental powers that will join in the conflict and cause the war to  escalate.

  • We pray that this conflict comes to a quick resolution as you, Lord, made possible in the Six Day War.

  • We pray that the enemy will surrender soon, so that lives will be spared and order will be restored.

  • We pray that both Muslims and Jews the world over will surrender their wills to the Lord’s, and come to know him as Lord and Savior.

  • We pray that your will will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Amen!  And so...

Please pray for our nation to return to God, because the time is short.  If we do not repent for our nation, we could see things take a downward turn.  God is merciful, but we must return to  him with a humble and contrite heart.  We must return to being a nation who submits to the authority of God.  Wickedness is all around us– If we do not repent and seek God to restrain evil, then wickedness will continue to increase.

So much is at stake: our children’s and grandchildren’s futures, our freedoms, our freedom to worship, to speak, to write, to assemble to defend ourselves and our families, our right to legal counsel and a fair and speedy trial before our peers, our right to protest, and to address our grievances before and with our government, our right to petition our government, our right to vote…  So many countries do not have these rights.  We are blessed.  We need to pray for God’s forgiveness and his blessing over this land.

If we do not turn to God now, God may give us another president that will continue to take our nation on its downward path.  We must seek God now and throughout this coming year, for the next election may decide the fate of our nation. Let’s pray for a spiritual revival for our country and a return to Biblical morality. Now is the time to seek God and commit our ways to him.

Please share this post with others who will pray and take this message to heart.
God bless you all!
